Club Offerings

All are welcome! Come join a club that will challenge your mind and help you think strategically. We will start our journey in checkers, then move up and learn the players and game of chess! Don’t know how to play? Don’t worry, we will teach you! 

Do you love comics, manga, or manhwa? In this club, we’ll learn how to create our own stories and bring them to life with pictures! We’ll practice making characters, writing cool plots, and learning how to set up pages so they look like real comics.

We’ll also be doing storyboarding, where we plan how each scene will look, and learn fun tricks about panels, pacing, and action. Whether you like drawing, writing, or just enjoy reading comics, this club is a place to share ideas, be creative, and make stories together!

Dance Club is the perfect place for students who love to move, create, and perform! Whether they enjoy making up their own choreography, learning new dance styles, or simply having fun with music, this club provides an exciting and supportive space to express themselves. Students will build confidence, teamwork, and rhythm through movement—and may even have the opportunity to showcase their talents at school events!

Love video games? Join a community where fun and fair play come first! In the Non-Toxic Gaming Club, students will enjoy friendly competition in age-appropriate, nonviolent games like Mario Kart and FIFA while learning the importance of sportsmanship and positive gaming culture. This club promotes teamwork, respect, and healthy gaming habits—because gaming is better when everyone plays with a great attitude.

Gardening Club is a community for all plant enthusiasts, from novice plant parents to experienced gardeners. We aim to cultivate a shared knowledge and love for all things green. Join us for plant swaps, educational workshops, and community greening projects. 

What do you know about money? Learn how to invest like a pro, play a fun stock market game, and even take a field trip to see real-life money magic in action. Whether you want to save for something special or just impress your friends with your skills, this club is for you! Get ready to take charge of your financial future and have a blast doing it!

Science Club provides an engaging and educational environment for students interested in science, technology, and engineering. Through hands-on experiments, STEM box projects, and collaborative activities, the club fosters curiosity and a love for these subjects. Students will have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts, conduct experiments, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By connecting classroom learning to real-world applications, the club aims to ignite a passion for discovery and innovation in middle school students, preparing them with skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

ALL are welcome! In this club, we will focus on health and fitness in practice. Stretching, Jogging, (Body Weight Calisthenics), Strength Training, we will do it all with some good music and maybe some healthy snacks. We will get stronger every session with some tips on form and healthy habits to nourish our bodies!

Vets’ Club is the perfect place for students who are passionate about animals and want to learn more about them up close. From dogs and rabbits to lizards, parrots, and even alligators, past visitors have included a wide variety of amazing creatures. Through hands-on experiences and expert visits, students will gain a deeper understanding of animal care, behavior, and conservation while fostering a love for all living creatures.

Step into the world of law and justice! This club is perfect for students interested in how the legal system works and the important role lawyers play in society. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, members will explore the key elements of a lawsuit, learn how to examine witnesses, and discover how cases are prepared for trial. Students will also dive into the Constitution’s Bill of Rights, discussing fundamental freedoms like free speech and the right against self-incrimination.

The Writing/Newspaper Club is all about making writing fun and accessible for writers of all levels. Members will explore creative and analytical writing, as well as newsletter and informative writing, while working together to launch CP’s very first monthly newspaper!U
