Eighth graders celebrate 100% acceptance rate to Classical High School

Community Preparatory School is thrilled to share that all of our Providence-based eighth-grade students have been accepted to Classical High School this year.

Classical High School, located in Providence, RI, is a highly regarded public magnet high school. Acceptance to Classical is determined by a thorough review conducted by the school's Admissions Committee, which carefully assesses each prospective student's profile. To be considered for admission, prospective students must be residents of Providence, complete the Entrance Exam, and submit a comprehensive application package. This package includes a letter of recommendation from their current school, seventh-grade transcripts, attendance records, and standardized test scores.

Community Prep recognizes the competitive nature of the admissions process. Considering that Classical receives nearly 1,000 applications annually and admits approximately 300 students across grades 9-12, we take great pride that 25 of our rising ninth graders have been accepted to Classical High School.
