Educator Excellence |
On May 31, Principal Natalia Corley walked across the stage at Harvard University, marking the culmination of her journey to earn a Master’s in Educational Leadership from one of the world’s most prestigious institutions. Balancing graduate-level coursework while leading Community Preparatory School with compassion, focus, and vision, Sra. Corley’s achievement is both a personal triumph and a source of inspiration for the entire school community.
Throughout her time at Harvard, Sra. Corley focused on deepening her understanding of educational equity, school leadership, and inclusive practices—principles that have long guided her work at Community Prep. Her graduate studies have already influenced her leadership style, enriching school-wide conversations around curriculum development, student support, and community engagement.
Sra. Corley reflected on her experience and the power of inclusive leadership in education:
“As a first-generation college graduate and immigrant, completing my degree at Harvard affirmed my belief that inclusive leadership in education can transform not only schools but entire communities. It goes beyond where you come from; it’s about where you are committed to serving and leading others. I am grateful and humbled by my Community Prep community for trusting me to grow and lead alongside them in this journey.”
Sra. Corley’s pursuit of lifelong learning reflects the very values Community Prep strives to instill in its students: curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference. As she returns to campus this fall, she brings with her not only new tools and strategies, but a renewed sense of purpose for shaping a more just and joyful educational environment.
All of us at Community Prep congratulate Sra. Corley on this extraordinary achievement. Her continued dedication to learning and leading is a gift to our school and a powerful reminder that education is a journey—one that transforms not just minds, but lives.
