CP After 3

The school's academic support and enrichment programs run from 7:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Among its staff members are high school and college-age Community Prep graduates who serve as tutors and mentors. Brown University students, RISD students and local residents also serve as volunteers.
 
Offering include:
 
  • an after-school silent study with teachers and tutors
  • group and individual tutoring sessions offered before, during and after school hours with tutors, mentors and the school's reading specialists
  • supervised use of the school's computer room and library
  • an after-school enrichment program that includes:
  • music lessons
  • sports and recreation
  • arts and crafts
  • photography
  • chess team
  • Friday field trips

Fees:

$10/day, due each day at pick-up.
$100/month, paid by the first day of the month or fees will be billed for the month at $10/day. 

Additional charges apply for field trips.
Late fees will apply for students picked up after 5:15 p.m.

Financial Aid:  There is no financial aid available for the CP After 3 Program. DHS Childcare assistance is no longer accepted.
